So, after 18:49 min. phone conversation, this was still their conclusion:

So...what does that mean for my bike, ski, and cargo racks? Risk using the '06' model Q-Clips? Or spend another $300 for a Thule mounting system? Or perhaps trade in my car? Humm...decisions, decisions...

AHHHH!!! I DID IT AGAIN!!!

SERIOUSLY. You think after having done this 3? times now I'd have either learned how to boil eggs, OR stopped trying all together. Well, I was thinking of how I'd like to have a boiled egg, or perhaps an egg sandwich in the morning, only to forget about it...uh? at least 40 min. later (I jumped in the shower). I heard that sprinkler popping noise again, and had thought they'd fixed the sprinkler...yeah. This time the sound was louder due to the EXPLOSION. Who knew eggs
could be so combustible? Anyways, here's a pic of the casualties...
