Climbing? Climb on!

So, I got back last night from a camping/climbing trip in Joshua Tree. I've been wanting to go there for years and finally made a detour back during Memorial Weekend. So, this trip marks my 2nd time, and this time I got to climb. Now I've had my own gear for years and have been climbing very inconsistently for about 8 years so far (wow, has BYU really been that long ago?). I'm not very good, but love the sport. I've been much into other things lately, and haven't had easy accessibility (climbing partner, rocks, gear, ect.) to do much out here. They have indoor gyms, but I still need someone to go with me. ANYWAYS...this trip was great. I knew I wouldn't last long, but it just felt good again to test my Spidey abilities with people who share the same (and more) interest than I do. Not to mention I met people who want to go again. So, Rockreation, here we come. And Nick and Vee...hopefully its not to cold to break the equipment out for Thanksgiving. I have now become you're protege :)

Dia de Los Muertos

Me encanta Dia de los Muertos. Fuimos a downtown Santa Ana ayer. We caught the tail end of the celebrations. Other highlights of the day includAdd Imageed getting to see Rafa for 2 sec. and spending more time with Uyenners and Lenners. I'm pretty sure downtown SNA is going to be one of our regulars (Uyenners and that is). I purchased these cool little magnets (or origninal pices of art) from a photographer named: Cory Lundquist. He's very talented and spends a lot of time in Asia (which is where a lot of his photographs are taken). I ended up buying a small print some kids looking at a koi pond. I had a hard time narrowing it down to a single pic to buy (I really, really, really wanted the magnets, but couldn't justify paying $6 per magnet). He was fantastic and ended up throwing in a free magnet with the purchase of my 5x7 photo. I highly encourage original art and and very photo pro. Anyways, you can check out his cooollll original art magnets here. Keep it up Cory, and thanks for the orginal art!

An Eventful Halloween?

Okay, so for all of you that didn't know, I've recently moved. I'm in my same complex, just different apt. This one has the water in the back, so I can hear that calming bubbling brook (sounds more like water falls) anytime. It also has vaulted ceilings and the master (which I'm in) is SO much bigger than my last room with SO much more storage space (those linen closets come in SO handy). Anyways, I had to be out of my apartment the 31st, so finised up moving some things after work. Our place is still in shambles...boxes everywhere and furniture still not completely assembled (although we did put the entertainment center and kitchen table together now). Anyways...I had planned on going to this Halloween party in South County that has been planned for AGES now and had went to dinner with Uyenners (I Love Sushi...remember going there Cashi?). Anyways...after that I came home played with my crackberry and ended up falling asleep while talking to my roommate before 9:30. Yeah. Eventful? Probably not. Which is ironic because last Halloween I had like 4 costumes/events that I went to and this year...well I did dress up for sushi...does that count? And isn't this only suppose to happen to old married people??? Ha, ha...j/k :)
