*photo by Mindy Higginson So, I got back last night from a camping/climbing trip in Joshua Tree. I've been wanting to go there for years and finally made a detour back during Memorial Weekend. So, this trip marks my 2nd time, and this time I got to climb. Now I've had my own gear for years and have been climbing very inconsistently for about 8 years so far (wow, has BYU really been that long ago?). I'm not very good, but love the sport. I've been much into other things lately, and haven't had easy accessibility (climbing partner, rocks, gear, ect.) to do much out here. They have indoor gyms, but I still need someone to go with me. ANYWAYS...this trip was great. I knew I wouldn't last long, but it just felt good again to test my Spidey abilities with people who share the same (and more) interest than I do. Not to mention I met people who want to go again. So, Rockreation, here we come. And Nick and Vee...hopefully its not to cold to break the equipment out for Thanksgiving. I have now become you're protege :)
