Ok guys, 7 More Weeks...

So time is flying by! 7 more weeks till this years annual Walk for Lupus Now LA. As a team we're doing great so far (go Team ET), but we still need donations! It is only through generous donators that we're able to make break through with research, fund support groups, educate and increase awareness of the disease. Please consider making a donation in my name to the Lupus Foundation of America. This is my 3rd year walking and I am walking for awareness and in memory of a dear friend of mine that didn't win her battle again Lupus. I know many out there don't have a clue what this disease is and how bizarre its symptoms can be. I know personally how devastating this disease can be. So, lets pull together and see what we can do for those around us ;)

I love this version (as I also love Metric). They're playing a FREE show next weekend at Six Flags...boo. I'll be out of town. But what could be better than Metric and roller coasters? Oh, I guess babies and weddings :) lol

I Know...I Should be in Bed

Its another 3 day weekend for me! Yeah! I'm paddling out in the morning with the look alikes, then headed to the OC Fair (P.S. FREE admission from 12-1pm tomorrow, opening day), then back to the beach for night bbq's and bonfires. I finally checked out the "SINGER merritt 9618" my mother sent back to me. It works! I just hope I don't run out of thread...honestly, how do these machines seem so complicated to thread??? I've been "beefing" up some tee's I got thrifting last week (one of my fav's: the hot pink "Microsoft 5.0...It's Awesome!" tee).

AND...just wanted to let everyone know about Renegade Craft Fair. Its in LA this weekend.

July 11-12, 11am - 7pm @ The Market Center

I'm grateful for: living in a free country, people who fight/have fought in wars for me and keep our country safe (ahe'hee), our founding fathers, "In God We Trust," etc.

I Haven't Been Blogging

Instead I've been:

Getting FREE shaved ice, beverages, tacos & music at UCI's Reggae Fest.

Making cherry cobbler w/my bestest friend for works Water for People Chili Cook off fundraiser.Playing around with watercolors.Going to FREE concerts (thanks again for the tix El Rey, Au Revoir Simone was awesome).

Driving around LA and Hollywood with Dirty D (I've actually never been this close to the sign, thanks again D!).

Eating Roscoe's with Erma (later followed by dessert cupcakes from Sprinkles and a hunt for a Panera for their delicious orange scones).

Hanging out at the beach with my cute, cute niece and her lovely parents.

Seeing really cool midnight movies with family & friend (this actually wasn't at the theater, but was on display yesterday at Paramount Studios!)

Frequent trips to Yogurtland with friends.

Going to bridal showers and weddings planned by Brittney Stiles (former Stiles Fisher).

Whew. So I've been busy as a bumblebee, but its time for blogs again (haha, trying to check all my reader updates, 225 to read! Oh me, oh my! ) Happy summer!!!
