Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk...I mean Burnt Eggs.

So my mother LAUGHED out loud (and more than she should of in my humble opinion) when I told her I had recently burned 2 batches of boiled eggs...yes, BOILED eggs. I've never considered myself anything remotely comparable to Betty Crocker and I've always let people know up front that cooking has never been my forte...ha, ha, for real. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I've ruined my pan. But it is interesting to hear that snap, crackle, and pop when the eggs shells are "cooking" on the bottom of a then waterless pan...ha, ha...Anyways...here's to you mom!

The incredible edible? egg :)

Oh, that makes me laugh and laugh. I went through a phase for a while where I consistently burned ramen noodles. And I still have a problem with brown rice. How hard can it be, right? But I burn it every time.

Good morning class, today we will be learning about eggs. More importantly how to boil eggs, in 3 easy steps. 1-bring your water to a boil. 2- place eggs into boiling water for 10 minutes. 3- drain, cool, and enjoy. Caution if there is a gray ring around the yolk or brown charred spots on the shell then you have overcooked the egg.

That is actually really hilarious. I haven't boiled an egg in a long time, but I have burnt a few other things lately.

I know that this is a dumb thing to ask, but do you have a good recipe to scone dough? I know that you guys make the best scones ever and I made a recipe today that was okay, but it wasn't exceptional like the ones that you guys make. Let me know...
