G R O W

Here's a little story:  Once upon a time I "stole" an aloe vera plant.  I say "stole" since I did know the people I was stealing it from and it looked like it was pegged for the trash.  It was in horrible shape when I got it (it was super limp and lifeless).  Its since been out front of my house and has multiplied like crazy.  I honestly can't believe how crazy its gotten.  I've been meaning to transplant it for ages now and this nice 70 degree weather has  been making me want to go home early from work and attend to my plants (leaving early from work? No such luck). My dad had also requested a split from this plant so I tried to break some off (I grabbed some roots too) and potted them in the old pot.  I'm not very good at plant stuff, but I love trying.  I do a decent job with desert flora (love me some succulents - easy to maintain and soooo lovely), so most of my "collection" are these.  Do you have any plants you keep around for sentimental reason? Or that are associated with loved ones?  I love this aloe.  I love that my dad also wants some of it.  Plants are cool and are a quick fix to remedy any house or brighten a room.  I have more pics and promise to post later of all the other plants I potted that day.

If you were closer, I'd steal from you--but I probably would kill it. I'm a plant killer. :(

I have a sentimental plant, too. The pothos on the back porch (in the faux wodden bird house) was a birthday gift from my sister about 5 years ago. I love pothos, they are nearly impossible to kill!

Btw the plants look great!
